For around $2000
I have looked at some seafarers, Catalinas, Columias and countless others.
IF anyone has experiences they would like to share with things in this size range or better still if they have any leads on a good deal please respond!

Sun, December 3, 2006 - 11:27 AMI bought a 50 foot Garden Sae Wolf ketch in Seattle in 1999 and it wasn't until after I did that and sailed it down to San Francisco that I found out that you will always pay a minimum of 15% more for a vessel in the Puget Sound then you will anywhere else in the US (accept the Chesapeak Bay). I would sugest you figure out what kind of boat you really want then go to San Francisco an buy it. I lived and worked in the boating industry in the Bay Area for the last five years and I know that you can find any vessel you want for the price you want to spend there.
